CORONA ENAMEL SIGN. 20 x 30.25ins. A somewhat appropriate sign to kickstart the auction! Simple striking design featuring a familiar flip top patent pop bottle - popular in the late 40s and 50s. Corona was a brand of carbonated soft drink produced by Thomas & Evans in South Wales and distributed across the UK. Founded in 1880s in Port Rhondda and expanding to 87 depots and factories throughout Britain. The company was sold to the Becham Group in 1958. A little discolouration and outer holes chipping but most of original sheen intact!
