The name Milgauss was created by Rolex; Mil coming from Mille (French for 1000), and Gauss, a unit of measurement of magnetic fields. The Rolex Milgauss is designed to withstand high levels of electromagnetism, as originally designed for scientists and other professionals.

The turquoise blue dial is mesmerizing, with a green sapphire crystal which complements very nicely with the lightning bolt second hand in orange.
