1422-1430 King Henry VI First Reign Annulet Issue silver Calais Groat graded AU 53 by NGC (S 1836). Obverse: crowned facing portrait of the King with annulets on either side of the neck within a tressure of arcs inside a beaded circle. Mintmark: plain cross. Legend: 'HENRIC x DI x GRA x REX x ANGL x FRANC'. Reverse: long cross with three pellets in central angles, and annulets in two opposite angles. The legend appears around in two beaded circles. 'VIL LA xx CALI SIE xx' in the middle with 'POSVI · DEVM ' A DIVTOR E MEVM' around the edge. Sold in NGC holder (#2905815-001). Weight: 3.7g.
