E.J. Watt (British, 19th century), Navy ships and other vessels anchored on coastlines - a pair, each signed E.J. Watt (lower left - one indistinctly) oils on canvas, 56 x 92 cm, framed 69 x 106 cm. Qty: (2) Private Collection Both canvases have been cleaned. The lighter of the two has been lined and over painting evident,throughout the sky and possibly covering a tear from the masts diagonally down to the sailing vessel in the centre. The later frames in good condition with worn finish gilding.
