A Blue and White 'Red Cliff' Vase, Kangxi of rouleau form and square section, the rectangular sides well painted on two sides in strong blue with two night time boating scenes, one of them with the scholars in a boat admiring the red cliff, and on the other two sides with long inscriptions, colophons and seals, the cylindrical flared neck rising from the flat shoulder and decorated with bamboo and rocks, H:54.5cm.
