449 A Makila or Makhila traditional Basque walking stick (sword stick) which is notable as both a practical tool and a cultural symbol of authority and strength. Having a stag horn handle, woven leather grip and brass fittings on a Medlar wood shaft. The handle unscrews to reveal a hidden steel spike. Overall length 87cms.
