Two mixed commemorative postcards and one sealed letter bearing the signatures and written by Major Patrick "Pat" Reid post-war. There are other signatures on the postcards including Lieutenant Peter Allan (famous for "The Mattress" Escape), Captain Kenneth Lockwood MBE (one of the first six British prisoners at Colditz), Brigadier Jock Hamilton-Baillie (one of the only two men who escaped from both Spangenberg and Colditz prison camps during WW2), and Pilot Officer Jack Best (headed the "Colditz Cock" glider project).
The still sealed letter from Major Patrick "Pat" Reid written to Michael Booker includes a hand-drawn image of Colditz Castle titled "An Epic of Escape".
