A modern silver gilt compact applied with a 9ct garnet and diamond crescent. The engine turned compact hallmarked Birmingham 1964, hinged to reveal a gilded interior with inset mirror, diameter 8cm; the applied Edwardian 9ct crescent with graduated round cut garnets with tiny diamond points, hallmarked Birmingham 1905, length 50mm (two diamonds dificient), total weight 96.6g.
