Medieval Iron Axe Head, 10th-13thC, width 50.2 to 88.6mm from the butt to the cutting edge. The attachment broken in antiquity thus discarded. Similar to woodworking axes. Found "Farthinghoe" Northamptonshire, with PAS report.
