1664 (Oct 11) Entire letter from Edward Walker, Clerk of the Council at Whitehall, addressed "To Mr Thomas Cropley, Town Clerk of the Borough of Thetford in Norfolk" with the additional address "Thomas Cropley at his Chamber in Furnifalls Inn in Holborn" delivered free, reverse with "OC/13" Bishop Mark and seal of the Privy Council. The letter orders the Mayor of Thetford to attend a meeting concerning a petition of the Mayor and Burgesses, Cropley to attend if the Mayor cannot make it. Photo on Page 30.
