£60
A late 19th century novelty pipe, the bowl as the head of an African woman, 16.5cm long, cased, c.1890
The interior of the bowl is 1.8cm diam. The mouthpiece is fixed to the pipe. Air does pass through from stem to bowl, though we couldn’t say how useful that is for smoking this pipe. It’s in generally good condition, there are expected surface scratches and wear throughout; the brim of the hat has some restoration and one chip/crack. Scuffed case. Please see attached images.
