A FIRST WORLD WAR PAIR TO THE LONDON REGIMENT. A Great War pair comprising War Medal and Victory medal named to 490532 Pte R.W. Barrett 11-Lond. R. Reginald William Barrett was the son of William and Margaret Barrett and husband to Laura D. Barrett of 94 Edith Road, West kensington, London, he served with the 11th (Finsbury Rifles) and 21st (First Surrey Rifles) Battalions of the London Regiment, with numbers 490532 and 678028, he was killed in action on the 6th April 1918, he is buried on the Somme at the Senlis Communal Cemetery Extension, he was 29 years old. *CR Normal light surface marks. A lot fee of £8 inc. VAT will be charged on top of the hammer price and BP on all lots.
