Ogdens Cigarettes - The Story Of The Life-Boat (c1950s unproduced set) - 25x original printer's proof cigarette cards from the unreleased series. All laid into an original 'Mardon, Son & Hall Bristol & London' folder. Each card depicting the near-final version of the artwork. No text to rear. Likely the only proof set in existence from the original planned series.
This cigarette card set was designed and created for Ogdens in the 1950s, but was never officially released. It was later reproduced in the 1980s and 1990s in limited runs for collectors.
