A Third Reich ½ litre Luftwaffe glazed pottery beer stein, embossed with Luftwaffe eagle and Iron Cross, and inscribed "NJG1, Staffelkapitan Kommandeur Hauptmann Rudolf Sigmund" etc, GC; together with details of Rudolf Sigmund, who scored 28 victories, was a recipient of the German Cross and Knight's Cross and was a victim of friendly fire over Kassel, died 3rd October 1943
