A near pair of Chinese porcelain yen yen vases, (Fengweizun), Qing, late 19th century, painted with ladies, some with baskets of flowers standing on clouds, with poems to the reverse, 36.5cm & 37cm
Both vases have been converted to lamps and are pierced to the base accomodate electrical cable. The vase painted with only two ladies has a chip to the rim, from which issues a 9cm hairline crack, and a small shallow rim chip. The other vase in good condition, other than the pierced base.
