Three printed original postcards to mark Manchester United’s first ever FA Cup triumph – a 1-0 victory over Bristol City in a match played at Crystal Palace on April 24th, 1909. The two cards of the team are by R. Scott & Co of Manchester and have the players named. There is no publisher for the third card shows a footballer in boxer pose delivering a knock-out blow – and it is captioned ‘In Doleful Memory of Poor Bristol City.’ The winning goal was scored by Sandy Burnbull. The cards are in good condition. The Man Utd card has marks on the reverse in the corners where it has been in an album.
