A panel of a possibly 18th century silk, in triangular fichu form, the two sides leading to the curved centre applied with colourful silk embroidery with the addition of metal threads, the fine coffee silk in a double layer under the embroidery, those edges bound by hand, span along the longest side approx. 122cm, depth from the raw edge to the centre of the curve approx. 40cm

The silk is raw edged along the top other than the small sections where the embroidery is applied. Centre-top the silk is splitting.
