GEORGE FRIEL - 'THE BANK OF TIME', first edition published by Hutchinson of London in their 'New Authors' Series, 1959, no dustjacket. This is George Friel's first book, he went on to write 'Mr Alfred M. A. ', his fourth novel which was listed in the top 100 Scottish books of all time. Although readily available in paperback it is very rare to find a first edition of this novel.
