A Chinese patinated bronze two handled hu vaseprobably 18th/19th century, with apocryphal Xuande six character mark to base, red brown patination, the slightly tapered square neck with square rim and two elephant handles, each side with a shaped reserve, two with figures in mountain landscapes, the other two with diaper work, the body with a band of keywork with archaic dragons, the flared foot with key work decoration, 31.2cm. high.
