19th century Mirecourt Lacote style small bodied guitar; Back and sides: Brazilian rosewood, repaired hairline crack to upper bout; Top: natural spruce with mastic and pearl inlay to edges and sound hole rosette, lower pearl inscribed 'Grave Par Therese'; Neck: ebonised; Fretboard: ebony; Frets: good, refret; Hardware: engraved brass tuners with shaped pearl buttons; Nut width: 48mm; Scale length: 63mm; Overall condition: good for age

*Inscribed by the engraver 'Grave Par Therese' to the lower body. The engraved pearl work is of the highest quality and this inscription would suggest that they were particularly happy with the work on this guitar.
