A pair of George I silver casters and covers, one pierced, the other blind, contemporary initials on flange of covers T/W*M, 15cm h, maker's mark indistinct, London 1718, 9ozs 14dwts
The marks on the underside of the casters well preserved. The maker's mark to the centre obscured by the turning centre. Foot of one slightly dented. Covers in good condition. Faint outline of maker's mark on one cover, the other apparently unmarked
