A heavy WWII German Naval compass believed to be from a U boat, of copper and brass construction with gimbal mounts, the body stamped with eagle and swastika over "M" and "Nr 3081", and with small manufacturer's plate (incomplete) marked "Tochterkompass" (repeater compass), the dial marked "Anschutz". Basically GC (the dial dislocated, the inner scale detached and crumpled).
