A 19c Goncalo Alves Davenport of substantial form with sliding top having a three quarter gilt brass gallery, hinged writing slope with leather insert over a well fitted with four small drawers on a panelled base with four end drawers, all with turned bun handles and locking bar. 62cms w x 85cms h.
The knob is missing from the secret drawer, there is an expansion crack to front. Some scratching to leather and there is damage to lock on side drawers.
