RARE INDIAN CARD TO (SARAWAK DEFENCE FORCE) P.O.W. WITH PRINTED "15th Punjab Regt. (SARAWAK)" ADDRESS; Fine 5 Aug. 1942 usage of the India 9pi Green Postal Stationery PC with specially printed POW/SARAWAK address cancelled by fine "BANDA DAUD SHAH" cds with printed message and sender's thumb-print back & front, but also having red boxed (Tokyo?) "INCONNU/RETOUR", together with the Japanese PO returned mail slip (originally attached at right of address) with the same red INCONNU mark and a fine purple boxed Kuching "Borneo Camp" chop and "SIMONOSEKI" cds (29 Oct. 1943). One of only two recorded cards sent to the Punjab Regiment soldiers.
