A SEVRES STYLE BLUE GROUND JEWELLED CABINET CUP AND SAUCER. late 19th century, the cup painted with a titled portrait of Henri IV, Marie de Medici, and Gabrielle de Estrees, the saucer with the French Royal Coat of Arms, against a cobalt blue ground enriched with red, blue and white jewels, blue interlaced L's, title in gilding, saucer 14.5cm diameter.
the saucer with one small loss to jeweled decoration, scratches to the blue ground and a grey tint to the glaze on the underside. the cup with some wear to gilt on the rim.
