A pair of Meissen figures of a recumbent lion and lioness, 19th century, after the models by J.J. Kandler, incised model numbers 197 and 2876, blue crossed swords marks, 21cm long, 14 and 13.5cm high, restoration
The figure of a lion has restoration to his tail starting at about 3/4 ending towards the tail ending at the tail otherwise in good condition. The figure of the lioness has a broken and reglued hind left leg, a broken and rear glued section of the tail at the end with a tiny chip loss also at the end. A small chip loss to the her front left paw, otherwise in good condition.
