A Commonwealth silver Puritan spoon, slight tapering stem with plain oval bowl, owner's initials EG, no maker's mark, hallmarks probably London 1652, length 12.5cm, 0.6oz
No damage, quite worn all over with light abrasions, possible repair near base of stem but difficult to confirm, hallmarks very rubbed, no maker's mark or lion passant, from a private collection
