A FIRST WORLD WAR MEMORIAL PLAQUE TO EDWARD LAING OF THE TYNESIDE SCOTTISH. A Memorial plaque to Edward Laing, presumably 22846 of the Northumberland Fusiiers 23rd Tyneside Scottish) Battalion, the son of Edward and Rachael Laing of 5 Duke Street, Shiremoor, Northumberland, he died on the 13th June 1918, and is buried at Phalempin Communal cemetery between Lille and Lens and is one of only 43 men from the First World War buried at this site. He was 26 years old. *CR Slight paint spots. A lot fee of £8 inc. VAT will be charged on top of the hammer price and BP on all lots.
