PERU: Two large stock books housing an early to modern, mint & used collection. Commencing with a page of forgeries/reproductions of the first issue (no genuine examples), continuing with 1858-72 imperf 'Arms' types with many shades represented and inc. 1863 1p brown & 1872 1p yellow-buff; also 1871 5c Railway Anniv. used (2) and 1873 Llama unused. Range of 1881 Chilean occupation opts. and the commoner Civil War opt. types. Continues with late 19th/early 20th C. issues, the latter often duplicated both mint & used, with strength through to 1970s. Collection also inc. ranges of Fiscal/Revenue issues and a selection of early Chilean issues used at British Postal agency, Callao with "C38" cancels.
