An early 19th century c1820 William Hole of Bristol produced percussion muzzle-loading shotgun. The lock plate profusely engraved with a dog hunting scene, and similar engraved foliates to the hammer. Barrel indistinctly engraved with the address (very likely that of their workshop at 12 St Augustine's Back, Bristol). Engraved trigger guard and butt cap. 31" barrel. Half-cocks, full-cocks and dry fires. Ramrod present. Total length: 120cm.
