A COLLECTION OF PARIAN WARE JUGS, ETC, comprising a Samuel Alcock nineteenth century jug, moulded with figures, marked 'Published by S Alcock & Co, Burslem, July 1st 1842' (old stapled repair to base, hairlines, some staining), a Copeland jug with rope style handle, height to top of handle 30.5cm (small partial firing crack inside lip), an unmarked jug with modelled pink roses and handle in the form of a stem (some losses to petals and leaves, handle appears repaired), and four more nineteenth century jugs (one with a restored foot, another with extensive hairlines, a third with a minor chip to foot rim), a nineteenth century spill vase 'Before Darwin' representing an anthropomorphic fox (extensive restoration), a covered sugar bowl, and two saucers (one with partial hairline) (11) (Condition Report: generally ok, obvious specific damage as stated in description, age related wear)
