A George III silver cruet, London 1791,
the frame of navette shape, holding four glass bottles, with white metal collars -
Frame appears in good original condition - with some wear to the hallmarks but still readable.
Further small mark to upright on one of the upper legs
None of the collars are marked and all are a little mis-shapen.
Bottle 1: Chips to stopper; small chip to base. 5mm split to white metal mount
Bottle 2: Large chip to stopper; chip to one of the cut bottle edges; looks like chip to inside of the bottle under the collar
Bottle 3: Chip to top of the stopper; black spot and what looks like chip spreading from it to interior of bottle
Bottle 4: Stopper been cut down and affixed with an associated and hallmarked silver spoon
Overall some light scratches and marks commensurate with age and use
