Martini Enfield Artillery Carbine converted from a Martini Henry .577 MKIII Rifle. Barrel 21", single band with bayonet bar. Action marked "Citadel" and dated 1903 (?) and "K.H.A." (?). There is also a star and crescent moon over the top of "Citadel". These Carbines were assembled in Cairo 1903-1908 from obsolete British Rifles to arm the Egyptian Army. GC.
