A Louis XVI style mahogany, rosewood and kingwood bureau plat - late 20th century, the rectangular top with rounded angles and two dark red gilt tooled leather insets, over a vertical stripe inlaid frieze with central outset drawer, the sides and back with conforming decoration, raised on gilt brass mounted stop-fluted tapered supports with gilt cap sabots.
