The painting is framed under glass and has not been removed for inspection. The paint surface appears to be in good condition showing no obvious damage. There is the odd stray mark on the canvas, but these appear to be painted and may be intentional by the artist. The frame shows losses to the moulded details and wear to the gilt finish.
