Star Lot: A brilliant 19th century watercolour on paper painting titled 'Mawddach River, Barmouth'. Features the titular landscape scene. Rendered in a luminous colour palette with soft oranges, blues, greens and whites. Portrays delicate and soft brushstrokes creating translucent washes. Initialed 'A.F.M.B' lower right. Titled to verso. Housed in a gilt frame behind glass. Slight foxing to paper portraying age.
