Tooled red and gilt 19th Century sketch book containing watercolours, Chinese illustrations on pith paper, (botany, lepidoptery and ornithology) book/catalogue plates, pencil sketches drawn in the 1960s, two paintings on peepal leaves, rhymes etc.

Additional photos added. Leather binding is damaged/cracked at spine and scuffed/worn overall. Interior is mainly good, minor foxing. Most of the illustrations on pith paper are torn to the edges. One has a tear to the centre. Three Chinese pith paper illustrations. Two illustrations signed 'Linda Schiavr', one dated 3.6.67. Includes handwritten poems.
