A Dutch 18th century marquetry & rosewood inlaid library writing table desk. The table having a rectangular flared marquetry top with intricate inlaid designs. Central panel with classical urn with floral & foliate bouquets, acanthus leaves, swags & scrolls surrounding. The outer inlaid frame with matching foliate designs and four circular vignettes with butterfly motif to centre. Fitted inlaid frieze below with single drawer to one side, all raised on tapering squared supports with block ends and bun feet. All united by scrolled X central stretcher with further inlays.



(Measures approx. 78cm x 113cm x 83cm.)

Some wear and damage to the inlaid top.
