A Black Forest carved oak mantel clock, late 19th/early 20th century. The dial with silvered Roman numeral chapter ring enclosed by applied foliate spandrels. 8-day movement with ting tang striking gongs housed in a carved oak case with floral, foliate and balustrade features. The brass movement’s back plate stamped W & H for Winterhalder & Hofmeier. Key and pendulum included. 45.5 cm height, 26.5 cm width, 18.5 cm depth.
Condition report: Some light age related wear as illustrated. Bentley’s cannot guarantee the full working order of the clock.
