A Japanese Meiji Period [1868-1912] Cloisonne Enamel vase. Possibly by Hayashi Kodenji, late 19th/ early 20th century. Intricately worked in silver wire of varying gauge. Depicting three red crested cranes, reserved on a midnight blue ground; vase applied with gilt metal rims and feet, the neck and foot with narrow band of flower design. Stamped to base. [30.5cm high]
