A Japanese gilded black lacquer kodansu table-top jewellery cabinet, hinged lid with drawers and cabinets below, width 25cm, height 38cm
The cabinet is in nice overall condition with no obvious repairs. There are some areas of obvious overpainting which is quite poor in places and some of the handles are missing. A couple of the gild metal mounts are broken and in need of a general tidy up.
