A GEORGE V 1897 PATTERN SWORD FOR THE OXFORDSHIRE AND BUCKINGHAMSHIRE LIGHT INFANTRY BY WILKINSONS. An 1897 Pattern Infantry Officers sword with an 83cm pointed unsharpened blade with etched decoration, with badge for the Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry and owners initials J.R.P.M., marked for Wilkinson Sword, London. With a three-quarter basket hilt with turned down inner edge and pierced scrolling decoration. With service scabbard, black leather sword knot, light cover and leather travelling cover also marked J.R.P.M. 100cm overall. *CR Some light surface rust to the blade and toe of scabbard.
