An original WWI First World War US United States 1905 pattern Springfield Rifle bayonet. The bayonet having a hooked pommel and wooden grip secured to the tang with a screw. The cross guard with muzzle ring and catch mechanism, manipulated with a button under the cross guard. Ricasso dated 1922 for Springfield Armoury. Housed within original scabbard. Measures approx 55cm.
