An unusual Victorian brooch, designed as a split seed pearl set poodle, modelled jumping through a hoop, all finely detailed in white metal, to the yellow metal reverse, unmarked, gross weight 19.5gms, 4.6cm long

More Information

The brooch is missing fourteen split seed pearls, the stones in the jumping hoop are all closed back set except for one stone, stones in the hoop are all cabochon except two which are faceted and probably replacements, the brooch also has a white metal loop fitting to one back leg, pin clip is functional, there is minor surface scratching and tarnishing commensurate with age and usage, the piece would benefit from a good clean. Some chips and nibbles to stones throughout.
