John Player & Sons Cigarettes - Badges Of The RAF (1937 series of cigarette cards) - a folder containing the original artwork for each card in the 1937 set, plus some extras painted but not published (50 cards in the set, 52 paintings within the folder). Each hand painted Royal Air Force emblem featuring the crown to top, and motto to base. Painted on tan card stock by artists at Mardon, Son & Hall. Accompanied by many typed sheets of information with various edits in pencil, which eventually featured to the rear of each card. Unique collection of original cigarette card artwork. Each 29x18cm.
