1837 (Mar 13) Entire letter headed with a fine engraving of the Chain Pier at Brighton, posted from Cowes to London. Also an illustrated 1889 dividend warrant for the Brighthelmston Suspension Pier Co. bearing a 1d lilac. The Suspension Pier Co. established in 1822, the Chain Pier being completed in 1834. (2).
