Indian Stamp office compound plate colour print by Whiting using the Sir William Congreve patent, this method was used in the Victorian era to stop any forgeries, it was also used on a variety of revune duty stamps, this stamp was removed from an Indian commercial document, 11.5cm x 20.5cm approx.
