WW2 Military Mounted Japanese Officer's Katana Sword With Signed Tang
28 1/2 inch, single edged blade with faint hammon. The tang with five character signature to one side. The other with eight character signature. Copper habaki. Brass, floral decorated, military pattern tsuba, fuchi and kabuto gane. Shagreen grip with floral menuki. Tan cord binding. Scabbard release button removed from hilt. Contained in its wooden scabbard with brown lacquered finish and military pattern Ishizuke chape.
