A fine 19th century Black Forest carved limewood spring driven cuckoo clock, Jagdstück/hunt piece, the case with stag's head finial, with glass eyes,  two crossed-over percussion lock hunting guns above cuckoo doors, with cuckoos on the quarter and hour, the 20cm circular clock surrounded by  bugle-type hunting horn,  with ivorine Gothic Roman numerals,  scroll-pierced bone hands, triple weight movement,  flanked by hung rabbit and pheasant game and leafy branches, a  small game bird and bag to apron, 133cm high, 76cm wide, c.1870
