TWO SECOND WORLD WAR GROUPS OF THREE TO CASUALTIES WITH THE MERCHANT NAVY. Two Second World War Trios comprising 1939-45 and Atlantic Stars and War Medal, unnamed as issued. Attributed to Captain Robert Jones who lost his life with the entire crew of the S.S. Empire Hail when she was torpedoed and sunk by U92 on the 23rd February 1942. And to Chief Steward William John Hamilton who was aboard the S.S. Ardanbhan when she was torpedoed by a German submarine and sunk by an Italian torpedo. There were no survivors. Mounted for display with copied research.
